Chocolate Hazelnut flavored coffee with a medium roast. A blend of single origin coffees, lightly flavored with natural flavorings.

Try it in your regular brewer, then taste before adding milk or sweetener. Choose whole bean to grind for your method or drip ground for convenience.

Chocolate and hazelnut have reached an agreement. The terms are public and delicious.

Ingredients: Coffee, natural flavorings.

Try something new

A café-style cocoa cup

Mix a little unsweetened cocoa with a splash of hot brewed coffee until smooth. Stir in the rest of your coffee and warm milk, then sweeten to taste.

A chilled coffee shake

Let your brewed coffee cool completely. Pour it into a lidded jar with milk and a little sweetener, close the lid, and shake. Serve over ice for an easy afternoon treat.

These are optional serving ideas. Make them your own.

Chocolate Hazelnut flavored coffee for a dessert inspired coffee break. Start with a plain sip, then decide whether milk belongs in your mug.

About $1.53 per brew (one-time price; 20 g coffee; 320 g water)

Piper’s Field Notes

This medium roast is a blend of single origin coffees, lightly flavored with natural flavorings. Chocolate Hazelnut is the intended flavor, rather than a farm or a tasting note on unflavored coffee. We have not identified a specific farm for this blend. The dessert department has borrowed your coffee mug.

Dr. Roast’s Brew Lab

Your drip machine is a useful starting point for this flavored coffee. Prefer a fuller texture? Choose whole bean and grind coarse for a French press, whose metal filter leaves more oils and fine particles in the cup. Prefer a cleaner texture? Compare a paper filter brew. Taste before adding milk or sweetener and change one thing at a time. The mug is already doing dessert duty; it does not need a costume change.

Meet the simple brewers

Drip: Water passes through grounds and a filter. Your existing machine is a useful place to start.

French press: Grounds steep in water, then a metal filter separates them. More oils and fine particles remain, giving a fuller texture. Use a coarse grind.

Chemex: A manual pour over brewer with a paper filter that catches oils and fine particles. Try it if you enjoy a clearer texture. Use a medium coarse grind.

AeroPress: A small manual brewer where coffee steeps before gentle pressing through a filter. Follow the recipe for your model. It is different from an espresso machine.

A scale and timer: Measuring coffee and water by weight, and keeping track of time, helps you repeat a cup you enjoyed. Change one thing at a time. A better routine can come before another purchase.

Count the Beans

Compare the sizes below using the same brewing dose. These estimates cover coffee; milk and sweetener are separate. Choose the bag that fits how often you brew and how quickly you will enjoy it. Buying more should suit your routine, rather than appoint you chair of the cupboard committee.

Standard shipping is included within all 50 U.S. states. Taxes are calculated at checkout.

Example: 20 g coffee with 320 g water per brew. Estimated cost is the bag price divided by its net coffee weight, multiplied by 20 g. Your mug size and recipe change the yield; this is not a guaranteed cup count. Milk and other additions are separate.
