Hazelnut flavored coffee with a medium roast. A blend of single origin coffees, lightly flavored with natural flavorings.

Try it plain in your regular brewer first, then add milk or sweetener to taste. Choose Whole Bean to grind for your method or Drip Ground for convenience.

The dependable one. Has never started a rumor.

Ingredients: Coffee, natural flavorings.

Optional ideas with ingredients you add at home.

A vanilla-milk coffee cup

Add a drop or two of vanilla extract to warm milk, then stir the milk into brewed coffee. Sweeten only after tasting.

A shortbread sip-and-bite tasting

Pour a small cup of black coffee. Try one sip, a bite of plain shortbread, then another sip. Notice how the snack changes what you taste.

Hazelnut flavored coffee gives your usual cup a nutty inspired flavor direction. Start with a plain sip, then make it yours with milk or sweetener if you like. The book club can discuss the plot. You can discuss the coffee.

About $1.53 per brew (one-time price; 20 g coffee; 320 g water)

Piper’s Field Notes

This is a medium roast blend of single origin coffees, lightly flavored with natural flavorings. Hazelnut names the added flavor direction. Tasting notes on an unflavored coffee describe what people notice in the coffee itself. Those are different things. We do not have an individual farm or a detailed flavor recipe confirmed for this blend, so the name alone is not an ingredient or allergen guarantee. Flavor detective work is welcome. Guesswork stays outside.

Dr. Roast’s Brew Lab

Your drip machine is a sensible starting point with Drip Ground, fresh water and a measured dose. If you want to explore a fuller texture, try a French press with Whole Bean ground coarse. The mesh filter lets more oils and fine sediment into the cup. A paper filter brewer such as a Chemex gives a cleaner texture; follow its grind and recipe guidance. Sip before adding extras and change one thing at a time. Your morning cup needs a recipe, not a research department.

Meet the simple brewers

Drip: Water passes through grounds and a filter. Your existing machine is a useful place to start.

French press: Grounds steep in water, then a metal filter separates them. More oils and fine particles remain, giving a fuller texture. Use a coarse grind.

Chemex: A manual pour over brewer with a paper filter that catches oils and fine particles. Try it if you enjoy a clearer texture. Use a medium coarse grind.

AeroPress: A small manual brewer where coffee steeps before gentle pressing through a filter. Follow the recipe for your model. It is different from an espresso machine.

A scale and timer: Measuring coffee and water by weight, and keeping track of time, helps you repeat a cup you enjoyed. Change one thing at a time. A better routine can come before another purchase.

Count the Beans

Compare the coffee cost at the same dose, then choose a bag your household can use while fresh. Milk and sweetener are separate. A larger bag can reduce the coffee cost per brew, but the best size fits your routine. The savings only need to be impressive to your wallet, not your bookshelf.

Standard shipping is included within all 50 U.S. states. Taxes are calculated at checkout.

Example: 20 g coffee with 320 g water per brew. Estimated cost is the bag price divided by its net coffee weight, multiplied by 20 g. Your mug size and recipe change the yield; this is not a guaranteed cup count. Milk and other additions are separate.
