A little dessert energy for your everyday cup. Turtle is a flavored coffee inspired by the classic chocolate turtle dessert. Brew a familiar cup first, then make it your own. The coffee gets a mug; the dessert can keep the plate.
Choose your bag: 12 oz, 1 lb or 2 lb, in Whole Bean or Drip Ground. Includes standard U.S. shipping. One-time purchase or monthly delivery with 10% off; skip or cancel anytime.
Piper: discover your favorite version
Try a sip before adding milk or sweetener. Then compare a small splash of milk with the original. Prefer your coffee plain? That counts as discovery too. Explore the Discovery Center.
Dr. Roast: start with your own brewer
Use the amount and method you already enjoy. Choose Whole Bean if you grind at home; Drip Ground is the simple option for a drip brewer. You do not need an espresso machine to try the ideas below. Visit Dr. Roast in the Beverage Lab.
Two little experiments
Caramel cloud mug: Brew 6 oz of Turtle. Warm 2 oz of your preferred milk, whisk it until foamy and spoon it over the coffee. Add a small drizzle of caramel sauce if you like. Milk and caramel are optional additions, not ingredients promised in the coffee.
Slow-melt iced coffee: Cool freshly brewed coffee and freeze it in an ice-cube tray. Add the coffee cubes to a glass, pour over another cooled cup and add milk to taste. Your ice is now on the coffee team.
These are serving ideas to adjust to your taste. Check the ingredients of any milk, sauce or topping you add.

Meet the simple brewers
Drip: Water passes through grounds and a filter. Your existing machine is a useful place to start.
French press: Grounds steep in water, then a metal filter separates them. More oils and fine particles remain, giving a fuller texture. Use a coarse grind.
Chemex: A manual pour over brewer with a paper filter that catches oils and fine particles. Try it if you enjoy a clearer texture. Use a medium coarse grind.
AeroPress: A small manual brewer where coffee steeps before gentle pressing through a filter. Follow the recipe for your model. It is different from an espresso machine.
A scale and timer: Measuring coffee and water by weight, and keeping track of time, helps you repeat a cup you enjoyed. Change one thing at a time. A better routine can come before another purchase.
Count the Beans
Compare the bag sizes below using the same brewing example. A larger bag is better value per brew only when its price per gram is lower and it fits how quickly you use your coffee.
Standard shipping is included within all 50 U.S. states. Taxes are calculated at checkout.
Example: 20 g coffee with 320 g water per brew. Estimated cost is the bag price divided by its net coffee weight, multiplied by 20 g. Your mug size and recipe change the yield; this is not a guaranteed cup count. Milk and other additions are separate.
| Bag size | Bag | Per brew |
|---|---|---|
| 12 oz | $25.99 | $1.53 |
| 1 lb | $34.99 | $1.54 |
| 2 lb | $61.99 | $1.37 |
